| On this trip, we drove out to New York to celebrate the holidays with Mike's side of the family. We split up our drive to New York into two days. The second day we woke up to blizzard conditions, with 6 inches of fresh snow on the roads and even more rapidly falling. A drive that should have taken us 3 hours on that second day, instead took 8. Here is a photo from our hotel room that morning, looking out on what should have been a marina and Lake Ontario, but you can barely see past the break. |
